Bethlehem Lights 36" Decorative Branches with Color Flip LEDs

Light Natural

 

I purchased and received this item last week, the wire around the natural branches is copper, certainly not what I was expecting.  If anyone has received their order, and purchased the same item, what do you think about the copper wire?

 

I ordered, years ago a Valerie product, plug in natural lighted branches, and it is a very natural looking item.

 

I did find Bethlehem's website online and posed the question/concern to them but so far no reply...I just think copper was an odd choice of wire.
