Re: Beginnings of New Life at the Bird's Nest - May 2019

Good Morning, I woke up at 5:30 this morning.  Guess I didn't need 8 hours of sleep last night Woman Very Happy  The outside sparrows have been eating since daybreak.  I'm pretty sure the couple in the yellow birdhouse has babies.

The brown (seondary) birdhouse has been occupied by a male bird who has really worked overtime to get it outfitted for a family.  This is the male that was just about begging for a female to notice him.  I'm not sure if any of the females took him up on it or not.

I've seen a few white crowned sparrows feeding.  I think they migrate to Canada so I'm probably catching them on their trip north.

I've also been seeing more red winged blackbirds.  They are loud when they vocalize.

It's been at least a month since any ducks have come by to eat.  I think they are busy raising their little ones right now.

Hot diggety, I heard some baby sparrow chirps in the yellow birdhouse this morning as I was walking by.  The little ones voices are soft and 'tiny'.  In a few days they will practically be yodeling Woman LOL
