@gtx  I've checked and no.  There are no brown spots.  I used crisp pure white sheets so I can easily spot them.

Mine are not itchy except that one time I scratched.  I have a blood work appointment at Quest in about 2 weeks and I will have them look at them it then. Oh boy.

It's awful strange but I don't think it's bed bugs.

My mom always told me when I got home from a trip to take my clothes off immediately, unpack the clotihes at the front door and throw it in the wash or a sealed bag to be taken to the drycleaner.  Then take a shower right away before moving around the house or getting into the bed.

@Pink123 Your mom gave you good advice. We don't  travel but we do have to go to doctor appointments. We won't sit in chairs while we are there anymore. They can attach to any chair, doesn't have to be upholstered, and attach to you and you would never know. We will take our clothes off in the garage when we get home.

I have learned so much about bed bugs the last few days, I could scream!

I hope your bites are something different.

Saw this story on our local TV news yesterday:

Man says bedbugs at movie theater bit him and his wife.

MOUNT JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) - A Tennessee man said he went to the movies with his wife, and they woke up with dozens of bedbug bites the next morning.

Michal Steplowski said Regal Cinemas refused to cover their losses.

It was a Monday night in May when Steplowski and his wife went to see “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” at Regal Cinemas Providence 14 theater in Mount Juliet. It’s a place he said he and his wife don’t plan to walk inside again.

“I love movies. I love watching movies, just now it happens from the safety of my home, I guess,” Steplowski said.

That’s because the next morning, he said he woke up with 42 bed bug bites on his legs. His wife had 18 on her back.

Steplowski said some got infected, so he had to see a doctor.

“This was traumatic enough that I don’t think we will ever go to the movies,” he said.

After the incident, Steplowski said he reached out to the theater, but they ignored his calls for three days. So he came back to the theater himself.

“The manager on duty let me in,” said Steplowski. “We both walked back, we looked at the seats we were sitting in and underneath the seat I was sitting in was an egg sack from the bedbug.”

He said he took a picture and sent it to the exterminator cleaning his home, who confirmed it was an egg sack.

Steplowski said he texted the manager at the theater, who messaged him back saying they closed the theater until further notice. He later found out a pest control company came to clean the theater later that week.

Since then, Steplowski kept every document and said he spent over $2,000 on medical bills and extermination.

“We got some losses where it came to, I wasn’t able to work for a couple of days,” Steplowski said. “It cost a lot of money to get your house treated for bed bugs, and we were referred to their insurance provider to file a claim. And we were kind of shut down.”

In that letter, the insurance company for Regal Cinemas said they were not legally responsible for what happened and denied the claim.

Steplowski said he doesn’t know what else to do.

“You feel kind of powerless and frustrated,” he said.

Regal Cinemas’ media line has not responded to a request for comments.

Mount Juliet is a suburb east of Nashville with a population around 40,000.

Is it in the fine print of Regal's ticket that they're not responsible for insect bites or any critters you pick up in their theater?

I guess the point is that it would be nearly impossible for anyone to prove their bedbugs came from the theater, so the theater might as well deny, deny, deny.

I don't know, but I'd think the expectation when you buy a ticket to a movie is you don't bring cooties home with you.  I wonder if since they found the nest/egg sac under the seats where he & his wife were seated & documented it, they'd have some leagal recourse?

I think I know what is and it's not bed bugs.

My skin has become very sensitive over the past year and I can't wear evenh the best French parfums.

I remember last night I shot a spray of my loved Shalimar right on on my shoulder and today I have some slight spots starting.

Could this be it?  I have been careful over the past year not to spray directly on my skin but onto my jacket.  Believe me a good parfum does not stain your clothing.

I think me spraying around the arms of the jacket could get through with this darn heat and be causing this.  I will stop it and go back to Johnson's baby powder. haha.!

Plus last summer I used a very cheap perfume and I got a rash from side of my face down to my arms.  I needed 2 monthly doses and 2 months to get rid of it. It never did with Shalimar but I think it's come to this now.....awww.. but I will cease.

@Pink123  I think you may be right. Your spots look  more like a rash than bites. I really hope so, even though it is a beautiful perfume. Just be sure not to spray on your skin. Did you spray some on your ankle? I sometimes I do that because perfume is too strong for me if near my face.

Sounds like you have sensitive skin.

I think you can relax now about the bugs.

Yes @gtx  I'm pretty sure as I remember I prayed it by acciident on my left shoulder and today here are the same small 4 dots.  That's a good idea.  On the ankles.

Funny, I too can spray the Shalimar on the back of my knees with no problem.  So I can go a bit higher.

It seems to be the upper boday.  I am super sensitive to everything with scent's.
