@Still keeper of the koi

I have always been the optimist, and the pessimistic ones have a harder time seeing the good(happy) in life. Too many fill their life's ledger with the negatives, some even completely ignoring the positives.

Nobody can make anyone happy, that is something that only they can do for themselves.

Thank you for this thread,

@Vivian

My knee and I are going in on 11-14.

What’s your date?

This is a re-do of a 10 year old replacement for me, so I HOPE

it won’t be so bad.

@Still keeper of the koi thank you once again.I was beginning to get into a funk as things have been piling up.i needed to be reminded that I can choose to find or offer a little happiness and that will be the salve for my wounds.I admire your inner beauty and thoughts that you share here.

Re: Be the positive,

[ Edited ]

Drythe, to answer your question, my rescheduled surgery date is 11/30, one week after Thanksgiving and 25 days before Christmas, and the arrival of my grandson and his girlfriend. They’re both Floridians and my grandson wants to take his girlfriend skiing. They’ll stay with us and my husband and I will take them out for some special dinners. My husband will do the cooking at home but since he is a much better chef than I am, all should go well. I’m hoping that by the time our guests come up, I’ll feel well enough to enjoy them and the holidays.
