@Jackhound MomIs it the dreded Menopause?!  Sorry, couldn't resist.   My recurring dream involves one of those big orange city machines like a snow plow but it's not winter.  The thing careens off the overpass and crashes down on top of me as I walk.  Hurts.  Wish I'd wake up before it crushes me but I never do.

Oh, honey I'm way past that gem, thank goodness!

Your dream sounds absolutely horrible.  It is odd like my friend's dream that you feel pain.  I'm sorry.  Please try our other friend's suggestion of talking or claiming in the dream that it will stop!  Did you see that suggestion?

I've made this thread a bit longer than it should be because I didn't know how to get the OP's names by using@.  I won't do it wrong anymore.

Let us know if it works and I plan on trying it as well.

Sweet dreams to all Heart

When I was 16 one of my best friends (Linda) shared a locker with me.  We were all learning to drive and her, her boyfriend Mark and another friend Debbie took Mark's VW for a test drive.  Linda was driving, they stalled on a RR track, Mark got out, Deb got out and Linda froze.  Mark went back and the train hit them.  Linda was killed and Mark was a broken up mess.  Debbie was ok.  Mark did survive but was in the hospital for weeks.

I had never been to a funeral and seeing Linda's mom crying was too much to bear.  The next day I went to our locker and Linda had taken my spray snow from an art project and written good bye down the inside of the door as she was moving to Mark's locker but to me it was saying her last goodbye.

After that I had 3 dreams about her 2 of which were at school and I would see her across the gym in the bleachers only elevated up higher than all the other kids and wearing the dress she was buried in.  The 3rd dream we were at my neighbor's pool sitting at a table and she was wearing my favorite outfit of hers and had her hair up in my favorite style.  I was crying, telling her how much I missed her and she was talking to me like she was still here.  I reached for her hands and she told me that if I touched her she could not come back but I touched her hands and she left.

@Jackhound Mom  Thanks Cathy!  As far as we know, my surgeon said my cure is 99%, because nothing is ever 100%  I had two very small papillary thyroid cancers that were fully encapsulated with no spread out side of the nodules.  I also had a large parathyroid tumor, which, in the scheme of things, was much more serious.

The thyroid gland controls every single function, and every single cell in your body!  That about sums it up.  The symptoms, when thyroid hormones are out of balance, are infinite and sometimes very strange.

Right now I'm just trying to find the right balance of medications to get functioning properly again.  I'm almost there.  And, wouldn't you know....the most expensive thyroid med is the one that seems to be working!

Here's hoping for a great 2018 for both of us!
