@BirkiLady made a comment about PP seeing a counselor.
That is NOT condescending, it's standard procedure for the family or caretaker to see someone to make sure SHE is OK and to help her deal with the pain of things such as being pushed by her dad.
Usually it's the dementia social worker who arranges a counselor for the patient and for the caretaker.

Your father's doctor should be able to connect you with a hospital social worker who can give you a list of helping caretaker groups, and how much it would cost, if anything, to have someone come in to bathe him and make sure he eats.
It could give you time for shopping or just taking care of yourself. I hope you do check into it, it seems it's getting more difficult for you now. You have to think of your health, also.

Just a thought, but would it be less expensive for you and your father to get a two bedroom place in your complex? It might be easier for you to look in on him at night, or if he shows any signs of Sundowners.
