hello all

found an incision on left side of my back opposite of the right incision. don't know why it is there. if doc told me don't remember that. doc could have told me the moon was blue and cheese, i would have believed that.

the twilight sleep was horrid to day the least. i was completely frozen in time space,wide awake,could not move a breath, even stopped breathing several times.had to be shaken awake to keep breathing. i know the doctor had to have me perfectly still not a hair movement at all. they had to bring in a florascope for the exact placing of the electrodes in my sacral nerve area (there are 4 nerves in that area-have to make sure you get the exact nerve). anyway, have a feeling that is why this twilight sleep where i am awake and could not move,scream,talk,laying on my stomach with my whole back side exposed. could not get comfortable when they were getting me set up for surg. was on a table,with my feet hangin off the end of the table, raised up a bumper type gel pad (similar to cement car bumper block in a parking lot),my arms were not at my side, or stretched out straight, they were put oddly. so just uncomforable on this table.

ok guys, back down the phone electrodes to 3 this not peeing every hour and half to 2 hours is making me so nervous not use to this because for many many years it was getting up every couple hours day/all night long peeing. just not use to it.

hey all

did really nothing today,did clean bathrooms with my scrub bubble and rag,did mop the bath floors with my light weight twist mop dh got me last night.did put clothes in washer front loader on pedestal, dryer did fold clean clothes and put away, did got for morn walk

fell asleep in front of t.v. for 2 hours woke up to perry mason episode.

listened to neighbor lady scream herself horse with the 5 bratty kids,the more she yelled the worse the kids were now i have a friend of hers there that screams even louder than she does at those kids,those kids are not listening to that screaming one bit,

that is my morn. later guys

@viva923 I understand now why you were operated on from the back, sacral nerve, just the word nerve gives me the willies.

All I have to say is that you are one tough cookie! 💪

After all that time of getting up so often at night, it probably will take you a while to adjust to not having to.

I know it's hard for you to sit still, especially when there's cleaning to be done! But do try to take it at least a little bit easier than normal. You don't want to overdo and end up with another problem or a longer recuperation. ❤️

Yesterday was a little hectic and I missed posting in the community. Today I sign in and see Viva @viva923 ripping and running around the house doing stuff They futzed with your sacral nerves, are you trying to give yourself nerve damage?

I bet it feels odd to not have to 'pay the water bill' all of the time however soon it will be the new normal.

hey all

was in much pain all night long, could not sleep worth beans overnight. up down all night long, i was crying i hurt so badly. did doze off for about an hour before alarms began going off this morn. did do a couple chores this morn, take my walk that was it for today. am worn out today, just blah today.

@viva923 are you having lower back pain? Did the doctor say if you could maybe use a cool or cold compress on your lower back? Lots of time warmth feels better but since they put some electrodes under your skin I'd be scared to rile up infection. I'm sorry that you are feeling poorly and had a rotten's night sleep.
