hey all

not much here today

back still itches, am not itching it, dont' want to disturb the boo-boos. did get sick last night, have a feel it was from the stuff they used to put me to sleep.

slept fitfully last night, had off weird dreams,dreamt that my alarm clocks were going off and i was ready for the day.really odd off the walls dreams

did get up with dh,got him off to work,got some super light cleaning done, am dressed and ready for the day.

super humid today. forecasting some strong heavy rain/storms later today.

ok guys that is it for now. later guys

See @viva923 it ended up being a blessing even though it was a PITA on that particular day. With something so precise like working in the sacral area you want your doctor to pay attention and not be preoccupied with something else.

I'm not surprised you had fitful sleep after what you went through this morning. I know it's not the same however I didn't sleep good the day I dropped Francis off (Tuesday) or the day he came home from surgery (Wednesday). I slept like the dead last night though, lol. I won't speak for you.. in my case, I think I have my emotions under control and then what I call my anxiety closet opens when I am trying to sleep. It all works out of your subconscious once you try to sleep. I always say, better out than it when it comes to those things even though it feels lousy when you are going through it.

I think you will sleep better tonight. I'm so glad the battery life on the implant is a minimum of 5 years.

not much today

still not sleeping well, back is killing me on left side, still bruised back there.

got our flu shot last night.

looking for adhesive tape for large gauze pads, no one carries it any longer,have to hunt down this stuff even on line ordering, no one sells it.

not much else guys later

@viva923 Hey girl, I'm sorry your back is paining you. Try looking for first aid tape. I remember the best tape was by Johnson and Johnson on a roll. I'd swear that stuff was like a fabric - when you got it on it wasn't going nowhere.

I would include a link but you know how QVC gets about that.

That's what I have. I keep some around, just in case. But I got it some time ago so I don't know if it's still available in my stores either.

I've even still got a really old roll of medical adhesive waterproof tape. It works good, but it will take your skin off when you try to remove it!😵‍💫

@geezerette the old time J&J that came in a metal roller (tin) was something else. If you bandaged something like a finger and you didn't fold down a tiny piece of the corner of the end you couldn't find the edge to start to unravel it. It was worse than electrician's tape, lol. I can't count how many times my Ma had to slide the tip of scissors against the skin of the finger to start to cut it off.

hey all

i have gone to so many stores trying to find the old all american adhesive tape. i got a tape similiar to what you showed me, my tape looks clear, like a roll of scotch tape. why does everything good (such as adhesive tape)_ be discontinued for new and improved,just leave the good stuff alone.

not much else tonight.
