we he been busy,boring,but busy. The carpet looks great. Got the furniture all cleaned and polished. Windows washed ,also curtains washed nd hung. I know I'll feel this the next day or so! 
Glad they haven't laid the hardwood on the main level yet. The other day I noticed dust on the fireplace hearth. When. I cleaned it up I noticed it was damp and saw a spot where some water had dried. Guess with all the storms the chimney leaked.  Also some grout was flaking from the tiles around the fireplace. Having it sealed just to be sure next week. Wow,more money going toward this house. Just glad we didn't have the new floor in to get wet.

tomorrow is going to be a take it easy day,maybe a run to the grocery's but that's it for me.

@Epicurean  If there had to be a leak I'm glad you caught it before the floor was laid.  You've been working so hard, give yourself a break.

hey guys

not much here today

did my chores what i could do,dh will finish up the bedroom dressers, the stuff on the dressers way to heavy for me to lift right now.

talked with my lawn man this morn,he is going to mow either thurs or friday

it stinky outside today under code orange weather alert. heat,humidity,staggnat air all makes for yucky breathing outside, did get morn walk in, my forego this afternoon adventure.

It was hard for me to leave Francis at the vet last night.  I gave them a dusk to dawn nightlight so he wouldn't be in the dark.  We had some loud storms in the evening with lots of thunder and lightening and I worried he would be in a strange place afraid.

Francis made it through surgery and is home with me since around 4 pm (my time).

yup, tomorrow is a go, i feel it in my bones. i don't want to get over confident, i know it will be ok

@Bird mama  I am so glad things went ok for Francis and you can relax a bit now. Praying for good healing.

oh dear birdmama, i spelled francis wrong in bird nest.

not much today

just brought rug in from outside (front step railing next to front door, oh my gosh, it is so humid, breathing is difficult.under high heat/humid conditions till tonight.

not much else.will see all later

@viva923   you didn't spell it wrong.  To be honest I spell it two different ways because I'm still not sure if Frances is a girl bird or if Francis is a boy bird.  With so many birds it's easy because the feathers let you know the gender.  With pigeons, you study behavior or in Finley's case when she landed on the patio, they lay an egg the next day and after you have a heart attack you realize you have a female.  Frances/is has been x-rayed twice and even that doesn't tell you gender.  Spell it anyway you want, God knows I do

hey all

interstem is in. surg began about 1235pmish today. took about 1 hour time. now have 2 cells to monitor implant. back to my 1.0 mark just a little tingly at first but quickly got use to it. so glad i was able to get it done. battery life 5-7 yrs. see doctor on 1 sept. will ask the questions then, he was playing catch up on his cases he could not finish on monday in surg. so today was not the time to ask. the nurse anesthetist told me today, his simple 8am case on monday lasted till 4pm monday, he said doctor was so exhausted from this case he would could not even begin how to work on me, that is why they cancelled the procedures for us on monday.
