I had the same problem.  Racer backs worked for me.  But since I found Spanx bra's that you step into I only wear those.  I bought them here on the Q, but they must have quit selling them.  They are on the Spanx website and are expensive but worth it.

I wear Vanity Fair Beauty Back bras which are made to keep straps from falling down.

Kachina,  these look like they would be just the ticket for me.  Only one problem, how do you use them?  I can't reach that high behind my back to install them after the bra is on.  Or the gap would be too small to slip it over your head.  Please help.
