Did he go to the spa at Grove Park Inn that was done by the movie set company?

Did you go to the guild store in Biltmore Village or at the Folk Art Center?  I prefer the Folk Art Center.   Many more choices..  The one in Biltmore Village was where the manager lied to me about the position. , so I rarely go in there.

They're expecting to have the big fall craft show at the civic center!

@ECBG   BTW, we NEVER stay there (Biltmore)...prices way out of our budget...but so beautiful to sit in the lobby and have a $25 hamburger (?!?!) as a treat.

@ECBG   If there's a gallery or craft store or guild, I've been there. Now that I'm painting again, I'm chomping at the bit to come up again. My favorite place is is the strip of studios where I can watch and talk to the artists while they're working. DH was bored and wanted to go, but I could have spent the day in that one place. Know where I mean?  We're hyjacking this thread, but nice to catch up.

@ECBG   I call that entire area Biltmore...have since we traveled up as a child and visited the Biltmore House. I mean the Grove Park Inn or whatever they may have renamed it. There is, however a new hotel (?) on the Biltmore property we'd love to try.

@ECBG   If there's a gallery or craft store or guild, I've been there. Now that I'm painting again, I'm chomping at the bit to come up again. My favorite place is is the strip of studios where I can watch and talk to the artists while they're working. DH was bored and wanted to go, but I could have spent the day in that one place. You definitely need to be here when they do the fall craft show and fill the civic center.  I think it will be a "go" in mid October.  I know the head of the jewelry committee personally, I'll ask if it's tentative.

I's really like you to see Nancy Flemming.  Her items are in the Smithsonian.

You'll see the artist presenting their wares. I know a lot of them.  The show quilter used to sub for me and go to Biltmore House with my classes.

I often take the Thursday and Friday off.  The perks of part time!!!

There will be everything.  I just took off the 14th and 15th.

This will be the Christmas show and just over a year since they will have been here.

I have quite a list!

I suggest you get your rooms now.  It's also leaf season.
