@ECBG those are really cute but I have a problem with my little toe on my left foot trying to "escape" through spaces between straps like those so I have to be mindful of their placement.

@Texasmouse Could you put a little moleskin on the inside of the shoe where your toe is.  It will look like skin!

Mine was a little tight on my little toe, so I used the shoe stretcher!

@ECBG yes, I did try this on one pair of sandals and my little toe ended up pushing the moleskin out through the space! I also have a shoe stretcher but I don't think it would work for this problem because they fit fine, it's just that my "rebel" toe (which bulges out  a bit because I broke it years ago) won't conform!
