@Snicks1  I reviewed the July thread before I posted this.  Maybe I'm going blind or reading too fast.

What surgery?

@Bird mama, sorry, carotid artery 99% blocked onleft side only, right side is ok, per my cardiologists office ultra sound, so he sent me to the hospital for a CT Scan w/iodine contrast.
I heard back today that that test showed only 62% blockage, which is why they do more than just one type test, so I may not have to have the surgery. Will still see the surgeon on Thursday and hear what he has to say about that. I am hoping (naturally) that I don't have to have it, lol.

hey all

my i pad bit the dust last night-worked with apple last night could not get it up and running-dh has an appt with apple people at mall on sundat 11am to see what is going on. hope they can get it up and running again.

had a whole mess of storms all around us last night we got nothing-few rumbles of thunder-our weather radio was super active last night-didn't get a drop of rain.

Good morning all.
Having a relaxing morning, but need to get busy, before it gets too hot. Have what I'm guessing to be about and hour and a half of outside work I want to get done today, so I better get on it.

A carotid artery issue is nothing to play with @Snicks1   That said, I usually choose a conservative approach and other methods before considering surgery.
