Finally,it's down in the 70's,but still so humid that we have to keep the AC on. Hubby is using the shop vac on the screened porch as everything is covered in pollen. I just finished cleaning out my China cabinet. I believe most people don't even own one any more. But,I have some very old glasses from my Mom,and some nice pieces of candle wick that I still use on holidays because I love them. This iPad keeps changing my type,it's nor me,honest🙄

It wasn't that hot but it was kind of clammy this weekend.  I woke up at quarter to 5 this morning and saw some lightening in the sky.  When I didn't hear any thunder I wondered if I was having an episode or just imagined it.  I said to myself -no way am I getting up so I rolled over and slept for another hour.  The sky was dark and we got thunderstorms; nothing violent, just loud.  I was happy to see the rain.

Hello all. We took a trip to our  'other ' house and I wanted to see the famous bridge up north. I always hope I see a freighter. I am so glad we can get away now and then.We went to a tourist town up there.People were all over,in and out shops. It's like there is no pandemic.Less than half were wearing masks and forget social distancing. We of course did not get out of the car. That is so upsetting. At this rate this nightmare will never end.Disgusting.

That is my rant for the day!

The weather is beautiful today.Have a good week

Hellie, I was hoping Michigan was doing better about masks.

I guess I'm in a fog today.  Yesterday I was telling my daughter rpthat I had an oncology appt today at 8:45.  Today for some reason, I thought it was 9:45.  Didn't bother to look.  Got to office OnTime even tho a flock of geese decided they wanted to drink the irrigation remains inThe middle of street. Went in office, checked in found a sear at proper distance when the girl said did you realize your appointment was 8:45?   Duh.  They said we'll have to rebook cause he's way full.  As we prepared to find a date be sent word out that he'd see me.  The girls were astonished. I told them I was his comic relief.  He didn't know about merle and we had a nice visit. He thought the arm swelling was probably related to my leg swelling. He said he'd send me to a lymph specialist. I said no, it's getting better so if you think I'm ok, I'm ok.  He was very kind and took his time with me.  I'm good for another six months.  I came home took my water pill and think I'll catch a little nap.  I think I need one.

@Bird mama   Saturday night we had thunder, lightning, and gentle rain, if you can call it rain, none was expected, so that, in addition to the heat, made for a pretty sleepless night for me and the pups.

That's crazy about your phones @viva923   Are they real land lines (wired) or home phone over some other network?  Maybe the network is acting up?
