Here are our hummingbirds! Sorry that they are not clearer but I took them through a set of doors that have tinted glass on them.

Luvs, Thank you for sharing the pictures of your hummingbirds. They are good photos. My brother mentioned buying a hummingbird feeder as he saw a couple of Ruby Throat hummers near one of our hosta beds. I don't feed them other than buying flowers I know they like along with the ones the honeybees like too.
My daughter said today that her ex gave her a few jars of honey from the hives he put on our property, earlier this summer. I'm surprised these two new hives had made that much honey in such a short time. She hasn't tried it yet. He usually gives us several 'bears' of honey.
I agree with Mousie, about how hard it would be to leave your home with all the beautiful wildlife and that pond. I don't think I could ever leave where we live in MO unless the new place was out further from the city and had land and a pond or creek. I have never lived in a city, and don't think I could adjust to it. I'm country through and through, with a very Southern bent.
I sure hope the doctors will be able to help you with the Crohn's or gastro problems. I know by seeing what my daughter goes through, kind of how hard it is for you. Sending prayers and hugs, hang in there.

Some gorgeous pictures on here - I think they just get better and better - if possible.
Puddles glad to see you are back Stateside - had been wondering where you were. Did recall you do not spend 24 /7 here in the USA so it is always good to have you visit. Enjoy the new Condo also. That is great.
Suppose to be a bit cooler today - last two days was that muggy stuff again - really miserable. Actually right now - of course no sun out yet - I am sitting here with my Slanket over my shoulders and turned off the ceiling fans as they were chilling me. Love it but am sure the day will NOT stay this way. LOL.
HOpe one and all have a great day - hopefully sometime today I will get the Feeders filled - AGAIN!!! They are eating like crazy yet still do not see the birds out like I use to. Things have changed the past couple years out here and I believe that drought had the biggest role in it.

@possummink so glad that you like the hummingbird pictures. Other than posting pics. from my computer pics. I have no clue as to how to post from a website. I have tried several times and just cannot do it.
The house we were going to buy is in a town just like we currently live in but they put in a small (80) adult community. It borders Conservation land and lots of it with a pond. The house we were building would have had the back yard right up to the Conservation land. It sure would have been difficult having neighbors on each side actually 20 feet away. One of the reasons we backed out was that the house being built right next to ours had 2 floors and a basement and 6 or seven people were going to live in it all family with 2 college students. There would have been coming and goings day and night and no place to park all 6 cars but on our front lawn. Just not what we pictured in an adult community.
Yes, we surely would have missed this place. Every time you look out the windows there is most always something different to look at. Plus we have the mountain view of Pack Monadnock and others which changes with the seasons.
It sounds really beautiful where you live. I sure do know what you mean about being country through and through. We were born and raised in NJ and after getting married we lived less than a mile from the Ocean and right across the road from a large river but the houses were very close and a lot of people especially in the Summer months. We have lived in NH for 38 years and have gotten used to a totally different way of life and we love it.
Our neighbor across the road from us has bee hives and gives us honey from them and it is so good. What are "bears" of honey? That is nice that you let your daughters ex have the hives on your property and that he gives you honey in return. We use only local honey and love it. Enjoy your honey!
I sure do know what your daughter goes through and am hoping that we find out what is going on with me. I remember you mentioning that stress plays a role in it all with your daughter and the house and moving got me so stressed out that I am in a flare-up again. I hope that your DD is doing better with her Crohns. Thank you for your prayers and hugs.
Well it is time to go and make some more hummingbird food.
Have a great Sunday!!!
Waving hi to all the birders!!!
