Hi Birding Friends, My middle grandson's 19th birthday was today and we had a busy day. He did have to work at the pet store but then he got home for supper, but ate his cake and took off this evening to go to celebrate at one of his friends home. Hard to keep up with these boys at times. Tomorrow he and some friends are going scalloping up near Tarpon Springs, I think that what they said. Be interesting to see if we have fresh sea scallops for supper tomorrow night.

The birds were swarming the feeder today. Lately there have been fights between the redbellied woodpeckers, who like to hang on the side of the bowl and the doves, who like to climb into the bowl. When the doves so that, not many other birds have access to the seeds. Today it was the fight as usual, the bluejays and cardinals trying to get some food, and then the crows showed up. I haven't been seeing them lately but now they are back. That's ok with me, as they are a long time favorite of mine. Guess they all are.

Watched some of the debates tonight, which made me late getting back on the computer. My GS's GF's car is totalled from the flood. The elecrical system is all messed up and the interior and motor were messed up by the silt, sand and water combo. Not sure what kind of car her parents will get her now.
