Re: August 2015 - Bird's Nest

I learned today, that Bob Anderson, founder of Raptor Resource Project and the man behind the eagle cams in Decorah passed away suddenly last Monday.

If you're interested in the post, I put it in Community Chat

Looking back at ones self makes you realize that you are who you are through the good & bad just be happy & thankful that God has a bigger plan for you

Bernie,  I read the post you put on Community Chat.  What a loss for the birding world.  He did a lot of good work over the years.  I love watching the bird cams, though I haven't watched the eagle cams that much.  Kind of chicken when it comes to 'survival of the fittest'.    May he rest in peace and now he can soar with the eagles and falcons he served so well.

I took this picture of the moon the other night from my deck.

Mousie, you did a really good job on the picture of the moon.  I find the moon to be a difficult subject to photograph.

Yes it is, birdmama.  I took another that night, and it is a perfectly round, big moon, but it wasn't as pretty as the picture through the trees.
