I try very hard to remember the details of a beautiful day with my family and take it all in......because as the years go by....some of those family members aren't around anymore and the special memories are all i have left.....so when i miss someone...i try to remember one of those many beautiful days and moments....

qualitygirl---that's what I think too. Good that we are in Wa state and they are in AZ, however, so sad that this current situation is such one of contention, even in families. Not good for anybody.

@house_catas someone who has been a people pleaser most of my life, saying no was the best lesson I've learned . Too bad it took me so long, could have saved myself a lot of grief.

If I'm angry I sit on it. I try not to ever act in the heat of the moment anymore. Sometimes you're just feeding into a response somebody wants.
