Story and I just went on a  2 hour walk - bird were just chirping - "It's Spring, It's Spring".  Beautiful!

@Bird mama  If you can believe this, I put the pups in the patch this morning, and watched them like a hawk.  I turned for a split second, turned back. and there was the girl just having slipped under the fence in a different area, lol, couldn't believe it!  I picked her up, let Remmy out of the patch, and back into the house.   Now, DH will have to inspect the entire fence bottoms which are pretty well wired already.  Remmy was whining again, so now I know he was trying to tell me that she was up to no good agan.

The weather is beautiful today, so have been weeding and situating my huge tomato pots because tomorrow in go some tomato plants and seeds of others, and will also begin pepper seeds, eggplant, etc.

Zulily had a Cottage Farms set of six varities of tomato plants so bought it.  These arrived this week.  Packets of seeds are $3.95 - $6.95, so thought this was a good deal, and I will grow a few other varieties from seed.

Some plants already need watering, not happy about that.  Even though we are out of the drought, the cost of water is so high now, but why conserve when water is being let out of the reservoirs as they fill up.  I do conserve in that a hose doesn't run, am using the fireman's nozzle this year, and I just bought the TSV set of two nozzles, each type can be shut off without turning the faucet off, so this conserves also.

Thanks Bernie for the new April nest.   I forgot all about it till about 5 minutes ago.   Wondered why no one had posted since early Sat. morning and then I saw your post about this new thread.  

Been busy packing and shipping and shopping so I could do more packing and shipping.  Vicious circle I find myself in more often than not.
