I have a great commuter type bike that I've hardly been on over the last few years. I dropped it off today for a safety check and tire work.....so I can start riding again. I'm curious....Anyone here like to ride a bicycle? I think this will be great exercise and, more importantly, a lot of fun!

Good for you!

I always loved riding a bike when I was younger. Problem is, I live in a thickly settled area with lots of traffic and very narrow, hilly, winding streets. Plus people drive 50 mph in a posted 30 mph zone. I'd be run off the road in no time.

It bums me out because I miss riding so much.

Enjoy your riding travels when you get your bike back!

Yes I do when it cools off in the fall, don't enjoy it when its very hot.  I live pretty close to some bike trails that parallel a river, there are some rough hills but its a pretty ride.

I have always loved the sense of freedom being on my bike.

I've had a few over the years. When I lived in the city I'd borrow DS's truck and take it to the bike path. Even cold, dry days in January.

I sold it when I moved rural and instantly regretted it.  My road is 1 mile long and paved without much traffic.

Now you got me thinking ......😊

These are my three main bikes,,,,,,a carbon fiber tri bike it is very light weight, a RAD which is an electric bike, which we use mainly when we RV so we can explore long distances, and a trike.  My husband has the same bikes.  He customized the trikes they have big beach tires and go fast for a trike....my favorite bike!

I rode for years.  In my 70's now and live alone.  By the time I get the helmet on, sunglasses, get the bike out of the shed I could walk to my errand.  I also have balance issues and long legs.  If friends or neighbors are around to ride with, I do.

I'm one of those people who never really learned to ride a bike. I tried when I was a kid and hated it and then again as an adult in my 20's. When I was trying again in my 20's I fell off and into a curb in the parking lot and got bruised so I just never had a desire to try again.  I'm just to clutzy. I'm to worried about falling or getting run over. It's just something I never enjoyed.

I ride a stationary bike, have been for years.  Alot safer and in the comfort of my own home.  When I was younger, a friend and I would ride our 10 speeds on the bike trail at the beach which was fun and very energizing to be out in the sun and ocean air.
