I'm having a lazy day too today @Luvsmyfam    Sometimes you just have to have one! LOL

I was sitting out on my deck on and off for hours.  I stated in an earlier post how it is lovely weather in the northeast today so I've been enjoying some fresh air after being locked in for days with rain, haze and smokey air from Canada.   Not bored really but the Q programming today "very boring"!   Have a good rest of your day Smiley Happy

@Luvsmyfam Oh, yes, how I'd love to rewatch the Sopranos too. But it isn't free on any of my streaming services so I'd have to pick up the DVD's at the library and I'm kind of lazy. That's how I rewatched it 2 summers ago. Tony S. is one of my very favorite TV characters, loved James Gandolfini.  That series was a true magnum opus.

I've settled in to rewatch Justified for now, another bunch of criminals in a different naighborhood. It ran for 6 seasons, a decent binging time. I always enjoy the Raylan/Boyd dynamic.

Wish it were rainy here. But it's supposed to be sunny (of course) and only 90 degrees. It could be worse. Have a lovely time with your Italian friends and a good week ahead!

That's OK @Luvsmyfam  I didn't even get up until Noon and here it is 3 pm I'm still in my robe deciding what to wear and where to go eat.  Nothing sounds good today.  I had planned for us to drive into the city to eat somewhere different today, but don't feel like that so probaby will stay in town and go to one of the same, usual places.

I don't think our dreary rainy weather today helps perk me up.

So far we've attended church and had a chicken dinner at a local restaurant. Now we're watching baseball but our eyes are closed most of the time. I still need to do aload of laundry because our electric rate is half of the normal rate on weekends.

@Luvsmyfam

When I was in junior high school I witnessed an exchange between a smart aleck kid and our history teacher.  I never forgot it.

The kid said he was bored, and the teacher loudly came back at him and said "You're just bored because you are a BORING person".

Wow.  That startled everyone.   Woman Surprised

It's nice to have discretionary time to do what we want ... or to do nothing at all.  I appreciate that and recall we are only limited by our imagination .... and what's legal, I guess.  LOL

Have a nice day, whatever you decide to do with it.  Woman Happy

Wow, I do not have idle time. I was thinking today, I may like retirement where I can do what I want, when I want. Today, I did take a nap. I also did laundry, took care of my dogs and birds, I went through and updated all bills, personal items, Medicare. I am my brothers POA and had to update his disability information for Social Security.

Busy, busy.

Yesterday, I did have a massage, grocery shopping and visiting my bother in a nursing home.

I work full time still and look forward, I think, to when I can work part time or as needed. I am turning 65 this month.

@Luvsmyfam nothing wrong with a good lazy day, since I retired and if I am not going anywhere, I will get up take a shower and put on clean PJ's or lounging clothes that is almost all wear, I love it .  Enjoy yourself and everyone who has lazy days.

Is any of your life lived in the middle, or just enough, but not too much? From your posts here, seems like you have too much, or not enough going on. This is only my interpretation from the threads you start. Take it how you will.

My life personally! If I have ever been bored in my adult life?  I sure don't remember it. When recovering from health or injury issues, where I had physical limitations! My mind worked and I found plenty of things I could learn.

During my 7+ days in the Mental Ward, my mind was messed up, but my body worked just fine. While trying to heal my mind, I spent a lot of that time in their gym, helping my body stat strong and fit.

Sorry, can't relate to boredom. Pretty sure you won't like my comments, but hey, we're cyber friends, no? This Forum is Among Friends.
