@Daisy Sunflower Good for you...envious!!! If I got up to walk when almost cool enough, it'd still be dark. I dusted off my treadmill in April and have that as my backup. Boring, but a little Spotify helps.

@Shanus It's nice to watch tv while on the treadmill -- the time goes by faster. You can also watch a recorded show or two. That's a plus.

I'm a little west of you and it was 101 and 114 heat index here yesterday. It's supposed to be 99 with a heat index of 120 here today. It's not supposed to cool down to high 80s until Saturday.

@Daisy Sunflower My treadmill is upstairs on the "balcony" and we used to have a TV on a shelf in front of it. When we painted the interior of the house, we didn't put it back up. You're right though, watching TV was a good way to pass time. There wasn't a DVR there, so no movies except a few very early in the day. Most shows now are repeats except for news which has been quite depressing.
