You never know who is reading this board. It doesn't even have to be her daughter. Enough info. has been given by the OP about this wedding, including what she and the MOG wore and where they bought their dresses, that it wouldn't be hard for someone to figure out if they were involved in any way with this wedding.

My Aunt got married in the mid 1940s. She was pregnant. Has been happening forever...

In my short time participating on this board, I have learned that regardless of what is posted, someone will read the post and feel compelled to express negativity. I will never understand the need to do this.
