Prime has been a Godsend for me as I can't stand long to browse in stores.  I use it to buy everything, placing 3-4 orders a week.  It's especially nice for heavy things like big bags of cat litter, dog food or cases of drinks.

Unfortunately, my area doesn't get zippedly fast service most orders take 3 days and we can't order groceries.  I don't understand this since they opened a big distribution center a couple years ago.

When Prime first came out, I belonged.  But as the annual cost kept increasing, I quit.

I order monthly on subcribe and save - no shipping charges plus items are discounted.

When I order other things, I always make the $25 minimum as I'm often purchasing doggie cookies which will make up the minimum.  And, items arrive quicker than when I was doing Prime!  Guess I'm just in a location they travel to often so delivery timing is more than satisfactory.

Unfortunately I'm not in the fresh grocery area so I buy locally.

I couldn't live without it and not just for the free, lightning fast delivery.  Although it when I get something the same day I ordered it.  I also love Prime for Prime Video, Prime Music, the books that go right to my Kindle.

Yes.  I watch their videos via their app on my TV.  You need a smart TV which I don't have but Xfinity has the app with their DVR service.  Also works with Roku, Firestick, etc.

I've had it for several years and while I don't order a ton of stuff I do order enough so that it has more than paid for itself in shipping costs alone, plus free books and free videos.  Customer Service is great and never an issue with returns or cancelations.  Before I buy anything, anywhere,  Amazon is my first "go to" to check prices.  I also belong to Amazon Smile so a small amount of my purchase price goes to my favorite non-profit.    A definite yea!

@Group 5 minus 1 Love my Amazon Prime. I'd recommend it for prompt deliveries and other benefits -- music, movies, reading, etc. Lots for free on Prime, or good deals.

I get deliveries, some on the day ordered, some overnight, but most within two days, but this may depend on where you live. This is essential for me. I save money by not driving around wasting gas looking for hard to find, or replacement items.

CS is easy to deal with by phone, and although I haven't had any returns, friends report it's a breeze and handled promptly.

Just give it a try. You can always cancel if it doesn't work for you. But, if you're like me, you may become dependent on it.

I pay the annual fee for the additional savings. I held off getting Prime for years, until I noticed all the added savings I could have been getting at Whole Foods, where I would usually only buy the sale items. Figured if I shopped Whole Foods several times a month the Prime savings came close to what the breakdown of monthly fee would have been.

So for me all the other Prime perks became a bonus.

I have had it for years a real plus.  Even our church has it.

I have been putting off joining Prime, too, right now I am taking advantage of a 30 day 'free' Prime trial. I order maybe 5 or 6 times a month with Amazon and do like the free shipping and the 1-2 day deliveries.  Debating on whether to sign up for the 'monthly' Prime or the 'annual.'  I know you save on joining the annual rate.  Right now the monthly fee is $14.99 as opposed to the annual fee of $139.00 which is subject to increase.

Love it.  I buy just about everything there.  Fast and so many choices.  I no longer shop in stores.  Never have anything I want. And the free shipping is a BIG DEAL.  Membership is well worth it.
