We've been Prime members since they started the program. We still are.  I like the free shipping and very fast service.  Don't want to give it up.  Excellent customer service too.

I followed the instructions and was able to link DH into our Family Account.  We were each able to keep our own passwords and the credit card we each use. Easy peasy since it's just the two of us.

You can't add a bunch of people, never could. You are permitted one adult and, I believe, three children.

It would be a big mistake if Amazon takes away the ability to purchase but change shipping addresses.  I have purchased stuff for all our kids and grandkids that way.

I'm wondering how it might affect my own personal purchases sent to multiple addresses?  I've been at a hotel or staying at my niece's home when I've needed something.  I've just changed the shipping address and received quickly as usual.  Hope that's still ok.

@JeanLouiseFinch   what difference does it make to them if the same debit or credit card number is used.    makes no sense to me why where it is sent would matter if your name was the receiver of the item

You can have more than 1 Credit Card on file!

You can have more than 1 Address on file!

I think they just want to cut the ones that were abusing the privilege!

A couple of years ago I compared prescription drug prices between Amz and our local grocery store's pharmacy.  Amz did NOT win.  Not even close.

not saying its cheaper now, although u did it 2 years ago. so it could have changed.

commercials are out.  so its been through R&D.  its only a matter of time.  and for company as big as A, it could be a few years down the road.  but its coming. like i said, "slow simmer".

if you think about all the changes and additions Azn has gone through in 31 years, it just stands to reason that their reach will expand.

will it be cheaper for the consumer? not necessarily but it will be more convenient & that 'rules the day' with Gen Z.

Didnt Amz Prime have a reduced Student Price for Prime Membership at one time?  Or am I thinking of somewhere else.

@JoyFilled Warrior

yes, they did. they still may have it.

my daughter had it for a number of years.

it was about half the price of prime and you had to have a school based email address.
