While ordering batteries I saw Amazon has frozen Butterball turkeys in different sizes 12lb is the smallest.  All sizes are .49/lb so this one is $6.  Less than a small chicken!  It will be delivered early tomorrow morning.

Wasn't planning on making turkey today and ordered it to have later.  

Not easy to find small ones!

@rockygems123  You had we laughing with your opening,  "While ordering batteries....".    I have been stockpiling batteries for months due to the number of battery operated Christmas decorations I collected throughout the years.  My sister has been helping me put batteries in the decorations and synchronize the timers.  I believe this has confirmed to her that I'm a little nuts!  🎅🤶🎄⛄

Haha you gave me a good laugh too!  Nice your sister has helped it really take a village, it's a lot of work to change those batteries

Do you remember the very large Luminara Heritage lanterns that have 3 tall skinny candles each?  I have 5 of them each candle takes 2 batteries so that's 30 batteries.  Just finished doing those, only once a year lol.

We can't post links here but when I was ordering batteries it popped up as an add on to my order.  Maybe it's a local offer?  We're in Denver CO area.

@theresa  I typed in Frozen turkey and butterball came up as a choice. Currently, they are not available to purchase. They were 12 pounds.

Try going to AMAZON Fresh--that's the online grocery part. I use them almost totally fo my groceries and have seen that turkey ad since late Oct.
