@mousiegirl

What you fail to realize is that your reputation as a rescuer and overall animal lover has been released on the animal internet.  Don't ask me how they did it, they did it to me too.  I'm telling you Mousie, it's like a Disney movie, they all talk amongst themselves.

Birds are happy at my house - I hope - I filled all the feeders yesterday. FINALLY!! Now to see a bird stop by - they are super super scarce.

Re: Always Thankful at the Bird's Nest - November 2016

I posted the deer pictures in the Garden forum in My Perennials thread.  DH put up a wire fence on the narrow path the deer were using to get into the yard.

After all of DH's protestations that he could fix the gate, he wasn't able to, so told him to put the wire up.  Hopefully, the gate guy will come soon, and not charge an arm and a leg.

Yesterday and today are grey days, but not cold.  I spent the afternoon yesterday going through my Christmas cookie magazines that go back to the late 80's, fun.  Today, back to organizing.

Re: Always Thankful at the Bird's Nest - November 2016

Hello, i enjoyed a lazy morning putzing around the house and spending time on the computer.  I finally got off dead center and took advantage of the warm weather by putting up my outdoor Christmas lights.  It was nice to do it with wires that stayed pliable.  I am in the middle of completing my annual performance self review.  We were notified at the end of last week that it's due tomorrow.  We have tomorrow off as the election holiday, so that means I need to have it done by Wednesday morning.

The employee basically writes their annual review, gives a rating, metrics to support it, blah blah blah, ha ha ha.

Good thing I brought my corporate laptop home I guess.

The bird of the day is the Red Flanked Bluetail
