Re: Advice On Sheer Curtains

I'm still steam pressing one huge panel a day.  Each takes 1 hour 40 minutes Cat Sad

I use a pillow case for a pressing cloth.  This might help someone else that doesn't have a cloth or shirt to use.  I do the same thing with my new Liquid Knit tops from SG.  Only 1 time when they are new and after that they are wrinkle free forever, yeah!

This brings back my uniform pressing days for DH during his Army days....

Re: Advice On Sheer Curtains

Yup, a pressing cloth!  I use a cotton linen-like dish towel, get it soaking wet and ring it out really well. I place the cloth right over the areas I want pressed.  Works really good!  You'll eventually dry out the pressing cloth so if you need to continue, rinse it out and ring it out again.  If the curtains have polyester in them use a lighter iron, never hot/hot.  If it's all cotton you can use a hotter iron, but still be careful with them.  Use the lightest setting that still gets the wrinkles out.   Good luck, I used to use sheers all the time.... Woman Happy

Re: Advice On Sheer Curtains

Thanks to everyone.  I got 5 of the 6 panels done and my eye started to hurt and buldge!

ER Doc says it's Bell's Paulsy, again.  I can't take either RX for this, steriod or antiviral.

I'm feeling sorry for myself today.....
