@Mom2Dogs My understanding is that those headlines are misleading and are copied from June 2021.
Do you have a current source?

What's next? No mascara?
Makes you wonder why any boy would want to be a girl.
Next question: When are we going to get fed up with this and grow a pair?
@just bee What??? How would a shortage of mascara even matter compared to baby formula and tampons/pads??
Priorities.
And I'm going to pass by the comment about why any boy would want to be a girl because it seems to have a back-door meaning.

It all matters, of course, but I'm surprised that nothing I use has been unfindable of late. I don't tend to have good luck, so I'm just waiting to see what's next.
I'm lamenting the unavailability of my fav Jif Creamy peanut butter. I hope it's back soon.
I can't imagine how it is for people who need baby formula, and now tampons, being that these are very much necessities. It's been so many decades since I've had to use tampons, thank goodness! I don't miss any of that for a minute and can barely even recall what it was like.
I think that things have gotten so bad, for several years now, that it's going to take a long time to get to some semblance of 'normal' again.

Each day, each week it will get worse.
Changes in directives could alter the process but it is doubtful it will happen.
The increase in population is only adding to the situation, and to the inflation.
It seems we can no longer purchase something we may want but now we are unable to purchase things we need that is if we are fortunate enough to have them in stores for sale.
I am concerned about medical cost and prescription drugs shortages and cost.

I doubt we will see that "normal" ever again. I actually had tears running down my face when I wrote that.

Wish people understood that.
@candys mine I wish our country spent more time and money investing in building critical industry in this country than overseas. I'm thinking critical systems manufacturing such as HVAC, pharmacy, medical supplies etc.
That would be a novel idea.....don't hold your breath.

@Cakers3 hmmm, I may be guilty of not looking at the date, if I can find my original source, I will post it.

@Mom2DogsIt's not novel at all.
I can remember a couple of short years ago we were close to being energy self sufficent and Manufacturers were returning to the USA.. Then things changed and for the past two years it's been getting worse and worse.
Think about it.

Totally agree, I hope as a country we can hold on until......
