Last night we went to the drugstore to pick up prescriptions and a few necessities. Of course, we both put on our masks before entering the store. While walking around (purchased some Carolina Blue nail polish and more Burt's Bees Pomegranate lip balm), I noticed some people were not "masked". Parents with their kids (without masks) were strolling through the store and were not following the six feet distancing markings on the floor either.
So, how are these regulations enforced? DH said the stores should not allow anyone in who is not protected with a mask...protecting themselves and/or others. Now there are some much needed jobs with no experience necessary. Just have people standing at the entrances, checking the lines outside or walking through the store. Anyone without the required mask....OUT.

@Shanus ... in New Jersey as of April 10th it is mandatory to wear a mask in order to enter any store.

@Shanus I do not know where you live, my area is very low in covid cases. I do not wear a mask when out, which is rare, but some do wear masks.
The only store I have been to in weeks is the grovery store.
I do keep the approrpriate distance from others. When I get home I wash up as advised.

And I would certainly NOT be bringing my children inside the store if I had someone to watch them for the few minutes I needed to go inside the store. It's so simple to put on a mask for a few minutes.
You can't fix dumb.

Very few cases where I live. In fact, my daughter is an RNBSN, works for our major hospital, and has been furloughed during this stay at home order. Along with a lot of ICU nurses.
Some wear masks here but some do not. I only go out to the grocery store about every 7 to 8 days.

If it was easy to get masks, or make them, I'd agree. I think the government should take control of the supply of critical items - like masks - and ration them.
In PA, I think masks - or a face covering of some sort - is now required in stores. Don't know if it's enforced. Wegmans has had a security guard at the entrance; maybe he wouldn't let folks in who weren't properly attired.

Some stores are asking only one person per family go in the store. We have a neighborhood grocery store that is small. They are only letting 25 people in and asking one family member. They are blocking off parking spots so that there are only 25.

Kids should not be in stores, mask, just do not know if these cloth masks are any good .

How can people say they have very few cases?? Are they testing everyone?? The folks in SD said the same thing until it exploded at the Smithfield plant that had to be shut down.

@ValuSkr : A mask is easy to make if you have a square scarf or a t shirt you don't mind cutting up. My son in-law made himself one last Friday out of a t shirt before he had to head to Costco.
