A friend mentioned there were a few babies with their "mom's" in the Aldi she shopped at last week. We just passed 2,300 deaths in my tri-county area so this sighting is inexcusable. I asked her why she didn't call 9-11. Some people are oblivious, to each their own, but why subject an infant to this scourge?

I might be missing the context here, @deedledeedeedle. While it would best not to bring children shopping right now, many people have no choice. I doubt that you would have success calling the emergency number: No law was broken, and they are surely overwhelmed right now.

Re: ALL MASKED OR NOT WORKING

Went to local walmart today and the check out person was not wearing mask or gloves. I only saw 2 workers around stocking shelves that had a mask.

@FlowerBear, our county now requires many steps that markets have to take. One is that there must be plexiglass barriers between customers and staff. That's just one precaution.

I understand your concern, but that's not a 911 situation.  911 is for emergencies,  We have been urged here to call the local police if we see groups of people close together, blatantly violating regulations, etc.   But we're supposed to call the non-emergency number, not 911.  And not for mothers bringing their children with them to buy food.

The situation you describe could easily have been because the mothers don't have child care.  Personally, I would not be bringing a child out in public any more than absolutely necessary now, but some parents don't have an option.  The police won't do anything about it -  They're concerned with social distancing and wearing masks, not questioning parents about why they have their children with them.  It's not a police matter at all, and definitely not at the level of 911.
