I have a great deal of admiration for those who have the talent, patience and interest in making gorgeous things like this. I freely admit that I have none of those. I was an abject failure as a Girl Scout because I couldn't manage the tasks needed to get some sort of knitting/needlework badge. My attempt at a dishcloth resembled a blob.

just lovely!! You are very talented. My mom knitted things like that too and my daughter is a self taught knitter who can knit the same way. I can't--must of skipped and generation
