If you have an Amazon device with "Alexa," you can say "Alexa, thank my driver" after an Amazon delivery has been made at your house. Amazon will then pay the driver $5 every time a customer thanks the driver via Alexa. That's right....Amazon pays the $5 tip on your behalf. You pay nothing. Amazon has plenty of money to do this.....so I hope y'all will consider joining me in this new habit to help out the nice folks who deliver Amazon packages to us.

@Goldengate8361 Definitely agree w/u on this. & I know it's part of the driver's job but I like that they take a picture of whatever was delivered/where so we have confirmation that it's actually here.

I said that to Alexa and she said "Glad you enjoyed your most recent delivery. We'll share your thsnks with your driver".

While one can still thank the driver, the $5 reward part ended a while ago as did the additional program they did. We can still thank them of course, but there's no money involved. Just fyi

@Goldengate8361. So much for that idea. I got a delivery from A today. Went on my Fire Table told Alexa, "I got an Amazon delivery today, will you tip the driver"? She said, "sorry, I'm not sure".

What does that mean, she has to ask Jeff if it's okay?

Reading the ad it sounds like it may have expired.

My Amazon packages are delivered by US Post or FedEx. No picture, no Amazon driver to thank.

Sorry but I think that while I give my mail carrier a gift card at Christmas it is way overboard to tip people for every delivery that is part of a job. To me that is totally unnecessary.
