I got a zoom invite from my half sister who lives in Washington on Thanksgiving.  A few of her friends i know joined in and we had a drink together. I am very elderly and it made my day and put a spring in my step.

I have children that live very close, but nothing from them, not even a text, so when she called and said she was inviting me on zoom.

They did it again Sat.  This is the great thing about keeping up with the times no matter what age.

She knows how alone i am, so what a nice thing to do. It really made me feel good, so reach out to someone who is alone.  Zooming is great.

Only now did I read this post.  I hope that whatever you are going through has been managed successfully (and resolved, I hope) so that you are doing better today.
