So much for the idea that September means Fall weather.  It's been hit all week but I like it.  I don't spend much time out in it but my walk this afternoon felt great.  Most schools here are not air conditioned so some towns either canceled school Thursday and Friday or had early discharge.  Schools in my town didn't do that.  This is probably the end of 90 degree weather but hopefully we'll have a long Fall with beautiful weather.

It's been hot here all week in Pa., too. We're supposed to have severe storms, but so far nothing.Looks to be rainy thru Mon. Don't know how I survived school. We didn't have AC and they never canceled for that.

I do hope this is the end of the horrible heat, it is unbearable and unhealthy. I look forward to true Fall weather, cool and comfortable.   Massachusetts, one of my favorite places!!!!

September in many parts of Texas has always been August with a different name!  😄

We hit 99 today...felt like 110 with the humidity. Did my errends early to be home by 1PM, but hot as blazes getting back in the car.

Sure can't imagine it ever getting cool enough to be fall...may just go straight to winter. Lol

Some of our schools have been closed because of A/C problems.

Yeah, its hot all over the country!  Per the calendar, its still summer until 9/23, and often it's hot after that! But it does seem like it will cool down next week, so hang in there! 😎

Fall - even though officially beginning around the 20th of September - always starts warm since it follows summer.

Unfortunately, It's not like it was decades ago.

Autumn weather and its lower humidity really starts in October, my favorite month of the year.
