Microwave Cookbook

QVC offers microwave cookers and containers (Lock n Lock, Prepology, etc.) but I rarely see a cookbook with the item. It would be nice if you would offer a cookbook along with a steamer. I watched one presentation for a steamer that had multiple meal ideas shown but not one recipe was given.

There are a lot of microwave cookbooks and steamers on Amazon and other sites. My guess is they would be a lot less expensive than what Q would charge.

My local library has lots of books on microwave cooking, I'd start there.
And there are many websites to find microwave recipes.

I would buy all my books from a bookstore now. Lately cookbooks have been made with cheap materials that fall apart right away. They're also making them tiny & with tiny font. It's so hard to read the recipies when they're on the counter. I want to look at a real book before buying now. I agree that there's a lot of microwave cookbooks out there now.

MIcrowave cookbooks were very popular awhile ago. I bet if you went to a used bookstore or the Goodwill you would find some. They're probably made with more sturdy materials than cookbooks now. It's kind of fun to poke around in stores like that to see what you'll find.

@Northerngal - I think most microwave cookers and related items are just considered kitchen tools, like a skillet or a sheet pan, so it makes sense that the demos simply present usage ideas rather than having specific cookbooks provided. And as others here have noted, there are lots of recipes online that can be used with these pieces, or you can find cookbooks at many libraries if you don't want to invest in buying them. One other tip is to check out the Facebook or Instagram accounts of the presenters to see if they post their recipes there—typically, those pages are public, so you don't need to follow them or send friend requests to be able to view their content.
