Using the word "Stinkin"

I guess stinkin is a QVC Philadelphia expression. But now HSN vendor "Angie" for Naturalizer said it today. It's a poor description. They like saying stinking cute.

its an expression, perfectly harmless. i use it myself sometimes.

Living down South for decades and heard 'stinkin cute' on the regular basis. Continue to use it as the situation warrants to this day. No clue where it originated. Cheers!

I don't think I use it but hear it a lot and kind of like it. I'm in Texas so it's not just a Philadelphia word or phrase.

Growing up in Georgia, I don't remember hearing it. When I hear it I think of Tara from Temp-tations.

Stinkin as in something smells.

Cute as in something that looks nice.

I do not like the two words together.

It is stupid. Or stoopid.

Stinkin cute has been called "playful" and "fun"

Stoopid also has been called "playful" and "fun"

Well, then stinkin cute is stoopid.

While I don't mind the phrase, I'm really not a fan and don't use it myself. I first heard it from former host Albany Irvin. Since then I've heard a few others use it, too.

I'm from the south and don't hear it except on QVC. It's one of those words that I just don't like so I try to tune it out. The term I hear most often here is "freakin'", just another filler word that I was taught in school to avoid. Hearing "stink" immediately makes my nose wrinkle

I don't think I've ever heard anyone I know or have known say Stinkin Cute and I've lived my almost 68 years on planet Earth in Philly. Who knows!?!?

Give it a little time. They'll come up with a new buzz word soon. They always do.

I hear it a lot and I use it quite often! Especially since I started following Mr. Howie Mansmell on FB, Howie is a lavendar skunk, (he's one of 3 domestic purebred skunks) and they are a cute lil'stinkers!

Oh! I thought it was a "code word" from the host ... giving the impression it was "cute" but actually was "stinking cute" aka "awful."

I don't like the word stinkin' and really don't like hearing stinkin' cute.

Sounds so juvenile to me.

I really only remember Tara from Temptations using the phrase, sure others

have too.

Could he be stinkin' cute?
