      <description>&lt;P&gt;They give you an option but it's for a VERY short time frame. The minute it goes in processing, you can no longer cancel. I wish they'd give us at least until midnight of the day of the order.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I cancelled an order this week to switch colors within 12 hours and it seems they are still shipping both to me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In fairness, they did send an email that the vendor may send it anyway and they would let me know.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They never did let me know, but I see in tracking, both colors have apparently shipped.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I do get both, I don't have an issue. It's my bad. I was trying to make sure I got free shipping when it price dropped Sunday night.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But now I know, there is really no cancellation. Only a return, if I want to waste my time and money.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Luckily, I have asked maybe 3 times in three decades to cancel an order and once was because I accidentally hit the speed buy button. I've always been able to cancel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is the first time they apparently said no or the vendor said no can do and put it on me to return.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

In fact, many clearly state no changes can be made once the order is placed.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="helvetica" size="5" color="#003300"&gt;My suggestion is to be sure you want the item and at the price indicated BEFORE completing your order. I don't believe it's up to a retailer to accept cancellations&amp;nbsp;for a person that changes their mind especially if there are other possible shoppers that KNOW they wanted the item but missed out.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Normally you have some time to cancel but in a warehouse that processes thousands of orders, it's impossible to have customized services.&amp;nbsp; I can't imagine trying to keep up with everyone's whims if cancelation anytime was possible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Easier on everyone to be certain of your choice when you pull the trigger.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I received a letter yesterday saying it was sent out anyway and I could return it free of charge? Maybe vamping up CS?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I had a Cashmere scarf&amp;nbsp; sent from Macys that showed delivered and I did not receive it. I waited another day and called CS.&amp;nbsp; No questions asked&amp;nbsp; assumed lost or stolen and a replacement was immediately sent out. The representative thanked me for my customer loyality.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Macys and Pennys on line has the 30 minute cancelation window and clearly states the policy.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Although some items are stocked in QVC warehouses, the majority of items now ship directly from the vendors. To help ensure that customers' orders are fulfilled, and in as timely a manner as possible, the integration of the QVC and vendor ordering systems essentially locks down an order as soon as it is placed. It has been this way for about a decade now, I'd say.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Depending on the entity fulfilling the order, the customer may have just a few minutes or up to a day or two to cancel, but since there is rarely a way to confirm the source of the shipment, there is no guarantee any order can be changed or canceled after it has been placed. And there is typically nothing any service agent can do to help, as much as they may try, because the systems dictate the order terms.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
