Lesser Evil popcorn

A few days ago, I watched the Lesser Evil segment. I looked up the reviews & noticed that only 2 of the many reviews were current and all of the others were attributed to Lesser Evil itself. Is this a regular occurrence? I guess I've been duped by the reviews all along. Today, I again looked up the reviews, and now, there are many, with older dates, attributed to verified buyers. I am suspicious. Also, looking up the background of the product and CEO was enlightening.

Buy yourself one of those silicone popcorn makers from Amazon, put Reddenbacker's white kernal popcorn in it, a tsp of water, spray it with cooking spray nothing or add 1 tsp olive oil.

Microwave it on the outeredge of the turntable if your microwave has one, and take out when the popping slows down a lot (don't go longer or you'll burn it).

Great popcorn with no or very-low fat! Salt to your taste, and I also like good fresh white pepper on mine!

After getting a horrid shipment of Farmer Jon's, I went back to Orville Reddenbacher. Have lived happily ever after.

We just opened and popped some from a new bag of Jolly Time White Kernals from Walmart and it was very good and fresh and popped well--fyi!

@Sooner. I really like the one Q sells from Lock n Lock. It is smaller and has a Glass bottom with a vented lock n lock top. The first batch I burned following the instructions but cut the time in half to work. Popcorn is relatively inexpensive.

@UpNorthGorgy Thanks I will take a look. What I like about these silicone ones is that have a clear silicone lid that keeps it from spilling but lets it pop, and the collapse down to just nothing for storage! Storage is a big deal with me!

@UpNorthGorgy I looked at those and they are great for small servings and for other uses I think! I have me and a big old husband, so for us those silicone ones pop a LOT more popcorn.

Ours is one of the sort of funnel shaped ones from Amazon--there are lots of brands--and they start at $8 or so. We've had ours since 2017 and it is still going strong

BUT if anyone is interested be sure to get one of those with the little tabs to grab when you take it out of the microwave! Saves on popcorn falling out and hot fingers!

I always look to see where reviews come from, QVC customers vs reviews from the manufacturer's website. More often than not, if a product has lots of 5 stars the majority are from the manufacturer's site with only a few from QVC customers, which are usually only 2 or 3 stars. I make my decisons based on QVC customer ratings only. Personally, I don't think QVC should be posting reviews from non-customers. Wouldn't be surprised if my comments here get poofed either but this is MY opinion.
