If I am going to continue watching QVC as much as I usually do, vendors are really getting on my nerves big time and I would think QVC would have them not speak over hosts when they are trying to do their job. I can't hear descriptions or comments from the host without certain vendors talking over and with the host. So rude. I have noticed a few vendors making inane, noises when hosts are describing an item with "yup, gorgeous, you got it, sure, love it, stunning, absolutely" and it goes on and on. I cannot be the only viewer who notices this. Please QVC ask the vendors to hold their comments until hosts finish describing the item with sizes, color, etc. It really gets out of hand and I just turn the channel.

Half the people seem to complain that hosts interrupt the vendors; the other half complain that vendors interrupt the host.

Maybe it is me, but I do not see this constant "rudeness," but not everyone can spend hors on end watching QVC. Personally, if there is something I do not like, I do not watch -- I neither feel the need to continue watching nor go online and complain that my sensibilities have been offended.

It happens with both vendors and hosts but it doesn't bother me as this is what happens in life and I guess the presentations were scripted and nothing else was allowed - well how boring that would be! I guess I can see how it would bother some who may have trouble hearing or following what each is saying but anything anyone might need to know about a product can be found online.

JMO, they are not needed.

I agree. Unless the vendor truly adds some value to the presentation, I could live without most of them... likewise the gold buyer. More times than not, the host knows as much about the product as the vendor.

I'd note, though, that this complaint of one talking over the other is pretty clearly not going to be addressed... Take it or leave it...

Some products do have to be demonstrated and the host may not have had much lead time to practice. Also, electronics probably do need the manufacturer's representative, especially if it's a new model. But I really don't know why they need to show Suzy vacuuming with her Dyson for an hour. She's very nice and pleasant, but most of the hosts could handle that alone.
