1-page return label print option

QVC: Please remove the instructions of "how to do a return" from the label. If you were to combine the label with the return slip it would allow for 1-page of printing vs. my wasting costly ink (*and paper) on something I'm unfortunately very well versed in doing. You're seeking ways to minimize costs, and so are the consumers. If I'm required to print your label and packing slip to return, at least streamline it down to a singular print.

@KateLynninAZ - I totally agree! They could also just reconfigure the file to place the instruction list on its own page in case anyone needs it (then they can choose to print that part or not). I sent this suggestion to both the social team and the regular customer service email address a couple of months ago but haven't ever heard anything—and clearly haven't seen any changes.

Years ago QVC always included the return slip, please Q go back to that for your customers. The hosts always reminding customers you can try your products and for any reason you have 30 days to return or exchange, so please consider including the return slip.

Edit to include....HSN and Shophq, JTV includes the return slip.

For what it's worth, I'd say I get a return label/slip about 75% of the time, but it seems like I have bad luck and don't receive one when I actually need to submit a return.

I'm confused. I HAVE a one page print option on anything!

I always print my own return slips....when I press print, I see which page the actual UPS/USPS return label is by scrolling the bar down on the right.....and then I select that page ONLY.

I never have to print all pages. The print box gives you tons of options and printing only specific pages is one of them.

Have you tried that? Maybe I don't know what you are talking about....

Every printer allows you to pick the pages &/or portion of a page you want to print. You should never need to print all pages of anything that you don't want. I'd suggest googling the specific printer and the looking for either "print selection" or "print one page". Good luck

In case people haven't recently seen the way QVC sets up their return label PDF files online, here's an overview of the layout for the UPS option (I haven't used the USPS option since they started offering a choice, so I don't have an example on hand to confirm it is the same, though I imagine it is):

• The top half of the first page has a margin-to-margin grey box that
contains a list of return instructions. It is unlikely that anyone would
want to print this, and the grey background wastes A LOT of ink.
• The bottom half of the first page is the return label.
• The top part ot the second page has the packing slip and barcode to
place in the return package to provide item and return/exchange
details; this only takes up about 1/4 of the page, leaving the rest blank.

If they could just swap the instruction list section for the packing slip section, only one page would need to be printed for the packing slip and return label.

The easiest way I've found to avoid printing the grey box and two pages is to print the page with the packing slip at the top and then reinsert the printout in the printer, capture the image of the return label and paste it into a blank document, and then print the label image at the bottom of the previously printed packing slip page. It's not a terribly difficult process, but it would be completely unnecessary if they would just reconfigure the file to be more printer friendly.

@loriqvc I am familiar with the return documents.

I either screenshot the parts I want and crop to remove what I don't want before printing, or cut and paste only what I want from the pages onto a word doc and then print. Both of these options should be fairly easy to do.

I guess so, but I very rarely return anything, so it doesn't really phase me. Also, I'm on my computer a lot for work creating spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides so I do those things multiple times a day. I can see where it would be much easier for others though. 👍🏻

If they use the new tri-fold labels, no one trained the people filling the orders how to use or read the labels. Because of this, 75% of the time, we don't receive the packing slip either. Why's it so hard to teach them to stick 1st piece of tri-fold on the box and put the remaining in the box. What do the do with the PSlip and return labels? Throw them away? It's not that complicated.😱😖

I doubt Q will change the label to 1 page. It doesn't affect them but it would cost them money to change it. As it is, the consumer incurs the cost of printing and big corporations don't care about that.

I would like to add my encouragement to QVC re this request. I just saw the 4/17/25 email about removing the return labels altogether in favor of online returns. I do all the returns for my spouse - one of your best customers! - and every time I am very disappointed to have to discard 1/2 of what is not an inexpensive label page. Please print the instructions separately.

QVC I just want to say thank you for not giving us a return label ... I do not have a printer and it makes it very hard if I need to return a item So it helps me think wice about ordering .. I know your are a big CO. and have the right to do what you want so thanks again i'll be saving money ..

GREAT IDEA!!!! Please QVC make it so we can print the label and the reason and action requested on ONE PAGE!!! This only makes perfect sense.
