Is Fashion's Night In Replacing PM Style? Please NO Shawn!!!

Wondering if "Fashion's Night In" replacing PM Style??? I absolutely adored Lisa Robertson hosting PM Style. Looked forward to watching it every Monday. I recently noticed the "Fashions Night In" adds & I'm curious if it is going to be the new PM Style. Personally, if it will be replacing PM Style, please count me out. I will not watch the show because of several reasons. The main reason is that I do not feel Shawn is a fashion expert. In my opinion, she's one of those "me too" girls. I've noticed that she keeps asking Isaac for his opinion on pretty much everything. When she puts outfits together, they are a disaster. Please don't get me wrong, Shawn is a nice person. Nothing against her personally. I just feel she doesn't have a sense of style & is not qualified to host a fashion segment. Another reason I would not watch the show is that Lori Goldstien (sp???) is part of the panel. All of her designs are pretty much the same ~ shark bite hem. I do not like the shark bite hem because I feel more fabric around the hips does not make that area slimmer, it actually makes the hips look larger due to all the attention focused on that area. Just my opinion. Again, nothing against Lori as a person. She's fabulous. I don't mind Amy hosting the show. She does have her own sense of style & is quite confident in her fashion sense. Can Isaac & Lori really be unbiased when it comes to other designers' lines? How is the show going to work? Is QVC going to market mainly Isaac & Lori's clothing during the show? Just remembered something else annoying to me. I can't stand it when Shawn keeps talking over Isaac. Neither of them are able to complete their own sentences. Please add that to my list of reasons & also remember this is strictly my opinion. We can agree to disagree. :-) Wondering what you all think...

Hi HG! Hope you're doing well. So sad. Just found out that QVC is keeping PMS & that Shawn is the new host beginning March 2nd. I will not be shopping during P.M. Style. Totally boycotting the show until they get a QUALIFIED host.

To me she's totally unwatchable..

So, no PM style for me or anything else she hosts..

Totally agree with you. She does have a load of fans. Not me, though. Her incorrect grammar is incredibly annoying to me. I also can't stand it when she uses "big words" incorrectly. Heard she is a college grad. Can't tell by all of the errors she makes on a regular basis. One thing I must admit is that she has a nice heart. Her lady bug story touched my heart. Keep her on "Anything Goes with Rick & Shawn." I don't normally watch that show, but it suits her well. As far as PM Style, you already know my opinion... Shawn does not belong there because in my opinion, she lacks the style, sophistication, class, intelligence, confidence to sell fashion. I would not take her advice on what to wear unless I wanted last season's fashion disasters. Again, just my opinion... We can all respectfully agree to disagree.

happy that Shawn will be the host of PMSTYLE. She will be just fine. If the people in charge of the show didn't think she could do it they would never have given the program to her. Her employer thinks she is the person to handle the job. May be for the ones who don't care for her will not watch but she just might build up a big fan base. Time will tell by the sales that take place.

No Shawn for me! I've felt all along that Sandra is the classiest host, and would be the best choice for PM Style. I won't be watching it any more either.

Shawn should take the time to familiarize herself with the products she is selling. She gives incorrect information at times, and the '"If I am honest" she says is kind of "telling".

I'll probably give Shawn a whirl. I already catch her and Issac most weeks, but it's the earlier part of the new and SO not improved Monday line up that'll have me seeking alternative Monday evening viewing. Too bad, too, I really was pretty much a PM Style fixture... but I sure as heck won't be watching Amy and I sure as heck won't be watching Lori and Amy... Total no fly zone.

I doubt I will be watching after the first week. I already quit PM Style when Lisa was on. Got so boring -- she seemed tired of the job and the items were the same old stuff every week.

I had quit watching PM style a few years ago, except just to pass by. Lisa just seemed to be going through the motions with the boring merchandise. On a different note, I really enjoyed Lisa during her Christmas shows. She seemed to enjoy those.

CHITOWN CHICA---well said!!! ......especially the part about Logo and Shawn's ""style"" sense....just one of the few nights I used to watch QVC (after the NFL season of course).....but all these ""changes"" look like they are merely shuffling the hosts around but showing the same ole stuff and adding more Logo to the lineup....I wonder what will happen with Logo when the shark bite look is no longer in fashion...if it was ever considered ""in fashion""....

I'll definitely give Shawn a try... I've seen her on other shows hosting alone (without Isaac), and she has done a good job and dresses better a lot of the time.

However, I never watch Amy and I very seldom watch LOGO, and combining LOGO and Amy is just... well... I have no words.

I really enjoy Shawn and I think she will do an excellent job! She has no problem trying on all the clothes and she loves what she does. She ask the vendors their opinions on putting different things together and lets them describe the products and always ask how they came up with the design.

I agree with the others. Shawn is NOT the host for PM Style or any other fashion show. I would have much preferred Sandra Bennett. Shawn edges on the manic and acts like a total fool around Isaac. After spending last night watching LOGO ad nauseam I will be flipping the dial at the mere hint of LOGO. How can so many people be sucked in by those schmattes? Louis delOlio was on earlier...I could watch those clothes for hours. BTW, after LOGO I switched to HSN and Diane Gilman was flogging her stuff...she gets the Emmy for Most Annoying Vendor for all time!

I read on another site, that she will be the host and I like her...but I will not be watching,because,if I read it right ,the show is coming on at 10:00,too late for me!
