No one is being mean-spirited. Simply, Amy is not "ready for prime-time." Sad but true .... plus she could use a speech coach. Listen to her tone and diction .... very distracting; and I think Amy is wonderful and bubbly, but I had to turn off PMS last week.

funny you say she isn't ready for prime time when she host's her own show and is incredible with every spot i have seen her on yet the old timers ruined fashionably late last night acting like circus acts . are they ready for prime time ?

I've seen shows were Amy does a fine job....and I have seen other shows where she is nervous and talks a mile a minute and over the vendor....and I have seen shows where she turns into a little mouse (and whispers) as the OP mentioned.........Hey OP have you noticed when it comes to talking about her daughter she does NOT whisper...

Yes, they chose Amy for one of the "new" Monday Prime Time Fashion Show....I think it had to do with more of the demographic they were looking for .....the young mom who wants to be fashionable (and whether QVC has any fashionable clothes is a topic for another thread).....What I think is absolutely positively HILARIOUS is QVC chose Amy over Courtney ....I guess Courtney and her know it all attitude and valley girl speak did not impress the viewers or QVC either....and YES I would chose Amy over Courtney any day---Courtney is a channel changer for me....

But all this just shows the lack of talent at the host level available at QVC these days......

Amy needs to be banished to the wee hours, until she gets some help from a speech pathologist! She's in a job that requires the ability to speak plainly. She just isn't doing that. Often you just can't understand her. This isn't being mean, just being honest. She's had more than a chance, and she doesn't seem to improve.

OP, you could've ended after the word "stop"... She's unwatchable. So I don't. Between the products and the hosts they've chosen to highlight, I'm watching so little these days... Such a shame. QVC used to be both a nice diversion and a bona fide shopping resource. Now, it's pretty much neither...

Don't like her, don't watch her, but within the guidelines established feel completely free to say so...

I think the Q missed the boat with their new Monday line-up and I won't be watching until Shawn and Issac take over... I think it's worthwhile to let them know that at every opportunity... For those happy with it, enjoy!

She doesn't have a good voice for television. The 2 show hosts with the best voices, in my opinion, are Carolyn and Leah. I know Carolyn used to work as a radio broadcaster.

I agree, she does. I enjoy Carolyn and find her easy to listen to. Lisa had a good broadcast voice as well. I also agree with handygal that Amy, on the other hand, unfortunately does not...
