I bought a Bose about 1-1/2 years ago, and now when I put a disc in it says "cannot read disc" ..... I tried another and another and still it said the same thing. I contacted Bose and they told me to take it to UPS, have them package it up for me ($$), send it back to Bose ($$), and they would look at it for about $80 some dollars - that is not counting any repairs.</P> <P>I then tried to find a local place which could check it out and there aren't any .... Bose has a total monopoly on these things.</P> <P>I am absolutely furious at this .... I do not have the $$ to do all this, I have just recently had a total knee replacement. I will <SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"><STRONG>never</STRONG></SPAN> buy anything Bose again .... and, I am telling everyone I know.</P> <P>My Bose Wave Radio is now in the closet and I've pulled out "old faithful" .... my 2000 Sony CD/radio, dusted it off, and it still plays like a charm.
