Screw Back Earrings Please!

After losing so many earrings including expensive 14 K gold ones, I plan to buy only screw back earrings or lever back earrings from now on. I see that QVC had one style but sold out. Please offer those again plus other - small round 14 K gold would be great as would Diamondique studs.

I've never seen earrings with a screwback. Where have I been? My favorite is leverbacks.

Screwbacks are an old idea that should be revived. I will never buy expensive earrings, I just lose too many. My gold ones are leverbacks, purchased inexpensively at local auctions.

I find the "threaded posts" difficult to maneuver. That earring back is NOT attached like the old-fashioned ones... But I DO use them on diamond earrings.

Not born yet. It used to be all you could get.I haven't seen one in years. I'm considered a senior seniors citizen.

I wonder if @WCMJerseyGirl was referring to exactly what @Desertdi posted. I don't know how many jewelers still do those regularly but I had it done with I bought my diamond studs. It cost me a few bucks but the shop waived the cost when I picked them up.

I had a pair of amethyst earrings that I converted from clutch back to screw back. Bad decision, it took too long to put them on and remove.
I had the jeweler change them back.
