Craftsman tools

I remember when you had Craftsman tools.Back then the host did not know a screw driver from a ratchet wrench.If you were to hire a host that was a tool guy and could present the tools right and did some hands on demonstrations with those tools.Had a weekly show like ''In the kitchen with David''.Maybe a few shows like ''In the garage with ?'' Or ''In the work shop with?'' I feel it could be a big hit and give your self a larger male customer base.I know I certainly would be watching and buying.

Sadly, it would probably be an hour of watching one of the two Dans, neither of which I can stand. We women buy and use a lot of tools. I have a collection most men would envy. Bring it on.

When they were selling Craftsman tools it was Dan Wheeler.Dan Hughes would be more suited for it.They need more men oriented products.Why not have a women host it?David does a great job selling kitchen items.Better then any of the women.So why not a women selling tools.Does not matter as long as they know there product well.

I remember when Dan Wheeler and Rick had tool shows...they were such fun...I am guessing the tools didn't sell as well as the Q had hoped....as the tool shows stopped...

A friend of mine bought me all sorts of tools and a tool box...so I would enjoy watching a tool show again...and I wouldn't mind seeing a female host presenting them....Carolyn comes to mind....

Back then Sears was still doing good and there was a store in every town.So Craftsman tools was a bit of a hard sale I would think.But now that Sears and Kmart stores are closing more and more stores.I think it would go better.

Each to their own, but please... the programming is bad enough... I can only imagine watching the Dans and Mighty Mouth Rick hammering and yammering... While Sears might've fallen on hard times, there are plenty of Home Depot, Lowes and indy hardware stores around for men and women alike to meet their tool needs... Even Walmart sells tools.

stevieb.....in my day there was nothing like the Craftsmen tools....they were the best and still are...one thing Sears did....if something happened to that tool....they replaced it...no questions asked....they always made great gifts for the men...always appreciated...(you know the men can't get enough of any kind of tool)

as far as the Dans and Rick yammering...beats the heck out of listening to the tiring presentations of the other "stuff" they offer...its something different ....

I'm sure they're great tools and you'll broker no arguments from me about the miserable array of products typically chosen to yammer about, but Circles, that said, I'm sorry, but the prospect of watching tools being demonstrated by the Q-boys is just SO not something that strikes me as a good time... As I said, each to their own...

I think it would be great.There are just to many hours lost to Womens clothes and shoes and jewlery.Would bring in a new group.Rather then items for women to fill up closets.

Rick & Dan or Dan & Rick (was Dan Wheeler) had a tool type show for a couple of years. I think Craftsman was sold then. I know I bought my DH a Craftsman item from QVC a few years ago. They should bring the show and that brand back to QVC.
