Shipping - It takes effort to find a carrier so slow

If using USPS for shipping, Priority Mail 3 Day (small box rate) is less expensive than standard whcih takes 7-10 days and the method QVC chooses to use. Not sure why the method that takes longer is chosen?!? Continually disappointed in QVC and the total time, including transit, it takes to get product. With so many companies able to process orders and ship for less $ with 3 day guranteeed delivery, it seems QVC could do a much better job negotiating freight.

They get a contract rate for shipping and I feel certain they've chosen the cheapest option. What may be cheaper to the consumer is not necessarily the corporate rate.

You would think with what they charge for shipping and handling they would send it out with a better option then 7 to 10 days wait. That is why I order from them less and less.

I rarely wait more than a week from order date. Amazon is the only place I order from that is faster. I guess I'm just not in a major hurry for stuff.

I'm not usually one to complain about their shipping, as I usually find it reasonable... but given that I'm still waiting for something from the Gold Rush, I'm beginning to wonder... There have been only a handful of lost in the mail items across the many I've bought here, and I'd actually prefer this just be a matter of ridiculously slow shipping than another one to add to the list...

That's why I shop at Amazon, Overstock, & HSN. Fast and no or low cost S&H.
