What's with your app on Roku?

I went to watch TV and now you require my email to simply watch your shopping channel? If I want to buy something, you already have it. Its so annoying that you can't even watch a shopping show to promote YOUR products for sale without supplying my email. Give me a break. If you want people to shop, let them watch without any added hassle and frustration. I will not be supplying anything to watch a show to buy your products. So my suggestion is to drop that campaign or you may lose viewership. I do not need any more emails in my in box, so you lost this viewer.

@Blessed7029 If they already have your email, why do you care if they have it again? You control your preferences on QVC. I don't get any junk mail from them, just shipping and order confirmation notices, as I requested.

@Blessed7029 No doubt you may have already done this, but if not, perhaps you should check the app's settings on your Roku. I watch QVC and HSN via their app streamed through a Roku and have never been asked to provide an email address.

I had to give an email address to go on the QVC Plus website a couple of months ago.

I received via email 2 coupon codes for doing so.

They didn't say they were going to give me coupons for signing in, they just showed up after I gave the email address.

A thank you from QVC/HSN for $10.00 off at QVC and another code for $10.00 off at HSN.

I was pleasantly surprised and quite pleased. 😀

QVC has always been stingy with the coupons, so to get free money in any amount from them got my attention 😄

There are many apps on Fire Stick and Roku that make you sign in/register your device to access their channel.

Maybe the QVC app is going that route?

I finally had this happen last night. Before that, I never had to add my email address. I turned if off and watched from my laptop. I can watch QVC main from my streaming package, but for Q2, I have to use the Roku app. Why? I mean, why do I need to add an email address? It's a PITA to type out on a TV screen so I turned it off and watched from my laptop. So dumb and unnecessary.

I was also asked for my email address in the app for the first time this week. I clicked the back arrow and side arrows over and over until the message went away and I could just watch the livestream. The prompt hasn't appeared again . . . yet . . .
