Show Me Coordinates

I have an online shopping wish:

When I'm searching online for a top, below that top's info are several other top suggestions.

It's okay to show me 1 or 2 rows of other tops. But,...

I also want to see pants that coordinate with that top. Not just more tops.

Several other retail sites show coordinates that complement the selection, not only more of the same.

If I'm looking at dresses, show a row of shoes online, or cardigans, etc. that would coordinate well.

If I'm looking at pants, show me different tops in color/style coordinating looks.

And if that top is part of a particular collection, show me the pants/cardigan, etc. that are in that collection. Show the collection pieces.

Not just more tops.

I don't want to spend time searching & searching only to find out later that the piece I wanted to order was part of a collection.

Don't limit coordinating pieces to the same vendor. I may be considering LOGO jeans, but Belle has the perfect coordinating sweater or top.

Make shopping easier. And if someone ever does post coordinating pieces, please let it be someone with a knowledge of color, style, balance, taste, & apparel.

@Desert Lily Years ago, the Q website would show coordinating pieces adjacent to the primary item, making it easy to pick up the extras. Removing those was one of their dumbest moves as the space can be configured to not take extra room.

I can recall ordering a really cute tee top with appliqued flowers. I decided I wanted the matching pants which I recalled seeing on the air. No search, not even going through every single pant under the brand, could bring up what I was searching for. I finally was able to find it the following year. So much more productive to have included the two on the same page.

Talbots has "how to wear it" with 3 options of a whole outfit, plus some related suggestion. It is very helpful

Love that! Macys and even Old Navy do that! Especially have the coordinating pieces listed.

I agree. I appreciate that feature on other sites especially since I'm fashion challenged when it comes to putting together an outfit. I'm sure people would spend more too!

See tis is anoter example of wy QVC is failing because tere is no decent programming....it is eiter Piloisopy or Jose Marasn every day. Te so-called "designers" sould come up wit ideas......tere is just noting left wit QVC anymore and for all tose............I seldome watc and I do turn off the cannel.

@Sooner This is the logical thing to do if you're sincerely interested in selling your products. Hard to believe QVC has missed this opportunity.

@Kachina624 Good point. QVC tells you where to wear it, Talbots gives you ideas about HOW to wear it. With other of their clothes and accessories of course!

Qvc is behind the times with their web pages. They often sell separates like pants and jackets that match, but we have to hunt to find them. They really need to get on the stick!

The Q actually attempted this with the Katrina Zish show. However, this might entail a little work that would help the customer, so they'll skip by this.

I depend on my brochures and catalogs to do this for me. The Q wants to make all the monies on their fashion, but won't do the slightest.

It doesn't take genius to figure this out. Why can't the Q?

@Desert Lily QVC is doing exactly this, just not in the on-air Live presentations.

I know this will come with a groan from some, but QVC's streaming channel posts videos of just what you're describing.

There's a video right now called "Trend Alertpring Edition." Alberti's face is the graphic of the video, but it includes Alberti, Vanessa, and a fashion blogger call Davida.

Each of them has their own separate section where they style complete outfits, from all different QVC brands. You can of course buy the items from price & graphic in the corner, with a link straight to it.

I don't want to watch a video. I'd rather go on the qvc app, find the item I am considering and see things that go together. Talbots does this with links to coordinates and it is very helpful. I do not want to waste time searching videos and watching things I am not even interested in.

@Catch71 ITA. I don't want to waste time watching videos to find something to buy that coordinates with the item I'm already planning on purchasing.

Other retail sites show the other pieces in the specific collection and other options. It gives me ideas without spending time searching.

I know how to dress & how to put things together. I just want to see what's available on this site that coordinates with an item I'm interested in.
