Prices are getting out of control I feel...it really restrict customers who live on a budget who love qvc brands and have been loyal customers for years...

I think many people have more than they need, so now is probably a good time to start cutting back. I know that being retired I need much less.

@Canuckforever Prices are getting out of control for everything, even everyday items - and not just on QVC.

You can still get a bargain if you check out the lunchtime special, and as-is. Still has the 30 day exchange/return policy, and if you check often, and buy wisely, you can get some great deals and not have to return pay return costs if you check measurements carefully.

I'm on a fixed income and disabled so I can't even get a 'second job' to support my spending habits. I would do that if I could, believe me. But all I can do during these tough times is cut back on spending. Right now it's getting to the point where the cutting is getting too close to the skin.

I totally agree that the prices at QVC are horrendous. I cannot see paying $70 for a top. Everything is expensive shoes handbags…etc. I’m a long time QVC shopper and I have Not bought anything in months due to these high prices.

I looked at a Talbot's catalog and most items were over $50, many close to $100. I ordered pants on clearance last fall and received their spring catalog. Now I see how the other half shops.

It's called corporate greed.

With inflation, companies can increase their prices waaay beyond the inflation rate and get away with it. It makes inflation worse too.

@SilleeMee Nothing personal, but aren't most of us on a "fixed income"? I really hate that term. I still work, but it's not like I get a raise every week. So, as far as I'm concerned, I'm on a "fixed income" also.

To me a 'fixed income' is usually retirement income and does not change with fluctuations in inflation, has no commissions, no bonuses, no pay raises or holiday pay.

I can't remember the last time I bought clothing from the Q. I can get much better deals at numerous places. Just took advantage of Macy's weekend sale and bought a Ralph Lauren midi dress for about $50 with free shipping and last week bought three t-shirts from Lands End for $30 and free shipping. QVC tries hard to convince people that the prices they charge are the norm today. No true

100% agree! I saw a DC comfy knit pedal pusher for 69.00! QVC is nuts I only by clearance anymore because of the outrageous prices.

I've loved VPH but her prices plus shipping are ridiculous! I can get the same home decor in Boscovs on sale for half price. Same with clothes! Sheesh, some of the simple tee shirts they sell for $40 look like $15 Walmart tops!

QVC has a few new dresses being offered by various lines. With shipping and tax they are going to be $100. No way can I afford that. They are cute dresses but the construction and fabric don't warrant $100.

Talbots has great sales, just bought when it was 40% off one item. Never pay full price as they always have sales.

Paying a high price for a quality item is one thing, however, some brands like CCB can sometimes have very cheaply made clothes at exorbitant prices. I love her styles, but I can’t always justify the cost of a substandard item. Now I have frequently paid a lot more for jeans from QVC because I loooove some of the fits not available in retail.

I just checked out Isaacs new items listed. Oh my gosh, the prices! With taxes and shipping a pair of capris would be $100! I just can't see buyers paying thes inflated prices lately.
